For Derek is extremely abrasive with its crushing mix and distorted .. well, everything. It's MySpace Nintendocore baybee! There are synth interludes (I especially dig the closing track) to provide a breather, which is a good call. There are nasty breakdowns and harsh, sometimes sassy vocals. Rad to see this niche classic born again! Unicorn Hole

a band that definitely developed with my musical preferences. while their earlier releases had a hardcore attitude, this is where they delved into low tuned atonal and dissonant extreme metal madness. this record shaped my future musical taste in so many ways and after all this time I am still loving it alex-dissonance
